Best way to spend your free time in a fresh air, to escape from noisy, overcrowded bustling city lifestyle. Travel in time: Be sure to visit Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, in the foothills of the Khentii Mountain Range in Mongolia. Here, travelers can embark on a hike to Aryabal Monastery, ride horses, and explore this magnificent landscape. Or visit to Bogd Khan Mountain.
  • Hustai Nuruu Wild Horse reserve Center
  • Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
  • Mandshir Temple

Hustai Nuruu Wild Horse reserve Center: Khustain Nuruu National Park, also known as Hustai National Park, is a large conservation area in central Mongolia’s Töv Province. It’s known for its population of wild takhi (Przewalski’s horse) and its ger (yurt) camps. Trails lead across the steppe to the remote Moilt camp. In the park’s southwest, the Ungut monuments are a collection of ancient Turkic stone figures and Bronze Age rock carvings.

Gorkhi-Terelj National Park: Gorkhi-Terelj National Park is one of the national parks of Mongolia. The Terelj tourist zone has a number of “tourist camps”. It is connected with Ulaanbaatar by a paved road. The road comes to the Gorkhiin Davaa pass. Most of the tourist camps and tourist attractions are before this pass.

Mandshir Temple: Only 5 km on foot to the north-east of Zuunmod, and 46km from Ulaanbaatar, is Mandshir Khiid. Mandshir Monastery is located in the luxuriant valley of the Bogd Khan Mountain National Park in Tuv aimag, and one hour drive from Ulaanbaatar. It was established in 1733 with 20 temples and 300 monks.

Kharakhorum: Kharakhorum was the capital of the Mongol Empire between 1235 and 1260 and of the Northern Yuan in the 14–15th centuries. Its ruins lie in the northwestern corner of the Övörkhangai Province of Mongolia, near today’s town of Kharakhorum and adjacent to the Erdene Zuu Monastery.

Hovsgol lake: Lake Khövsgöl is the largest fresh water lake in Mongolia by volume and second largest by area. It is located near the northern border of Mongolia, about 200 km west of the southern end of Lake Baikal. It is nicknamed the “Younger sister” of those two “sister lakes”.

Kazakh Eagle hunters: Unbelievable tradition of Eagle Hunting is still kept by Kazakh tribes of Mongolia in 21st century.
